# GRAB THE UPSIDE!

Most token projects open with a chart. Ours opens with a war that has been running  
for five thousand years.

That is a deliberate choice, and it is worth explaining — because the story is not  
decoration bolted onto a token. It is the argument the project is making.

## The shape of the story

The Pudgy Bees whitepaper walks through twenty-one stages of human history, and at  
every stage it asks the same question: what did people build, and who came to take it?

- **3100 BC — the birth of civilisation.** Scattered bees rally around Buzz and raise  
the first golden hive. A bear watches from the treeline.
- **490 BC — Marathon.** Brutus brings an army. The Bees are hopelessly outnumbered,  
so they do not meet him head-on — they move the Honey through hidden tunnels while  
decoys lead the Bears the wrong way. By sunset the Bears break into empty chambers.
- **1760 — the Industrial Revolution.** Stinger builds the first Honey Factory. The  
Bees stop merely defending what they have and start compounding it.
- **1969 — the Moon.** Rocket flies somewhere the Bears cannot follow, and the Bears  
finally understand that the sky was never theirs to guard.

The pattern repeats on purpose. The Bears are stronger in almost every chapter. They  
still lose, because strength is not the variable that decides these things.

## Why bees, specifically

Because a hive is the oldest working model of the thing crypto keeps trying to  
rebuild: a system where no single member matters much, and the collective is  
extremely hard to kill.

Bees do not coordinate through a chief executive. They coordinate through shared  
incentives and information that travels fast. A colony survives losing individuals.  
It does not survive losing cohesion. That is a better description of what makes a  
token community durable than anything on a roadmap slide.

The Bears are the other half of the metaphor, and they are not villains exactly —  
they are the permanent condition. Something is always coming for the Honey. The  
question is never whether the Bears show up. It is whether the Hive built something  
worth defending before they did.

## The cast

Four Bees carry the story, and each one stands for a different way of surviving:

- **Buzz** — the founder, red scarf, first to rally the swarm. Courage.
- **Queen** — the crown, the one who unites colonies that were fighting separately. Unity.
- **Rocket** — goggles, fastest scout, finds the lands nobody has mapped. Exploration.
- **Stinger** — armoured guardian, builds and protects. Strength applied with patience.

Against them: **Brutus** the clan leader, **Grizzle** the strategist, **Fang** the  
commander, **Titan** the war general. Greed, cunning, force and scale — the four ways  
a good thing usually gets taken.

## What this has to do with a token

$BEES has a total supply of 150,000,000,000 and a community-first distribution. The  
ecosystem around it — a multi-stage presale, staking, a referral programme, a GameFi  
layer — is built on the same idea the story keeps restating: **the participants who** 
**show up early and stay are the ones the system should reward.**

That is not a promise about price. It is a statement about design. Early stages carry  
the lowest entry. Staking rewards holding rather than flipping. Referrals reward the  
people who grow the Hive rather than drain it.

The story and the mechanics are saying the same thing in two languages.

## The Great Emergence

The whitepaper closes on something real rather than mythological: a worker bee takes  
**twenty-one days** to go from egg to first flight. The final chapter borrows that  
number — thousands of new Bees emerging from the honeycomb at once, the kingdom  
opening its gates.

It is the moment the presale ends and $BEES begins trading. Not a battle. Just a  
generation arriving all at once, which is how hives have always worked.
